Kit-level: each child moves to the next kit the month they age into its window — the countdown on their card tracks it. Shelf-level: within the current kit, the toys are split into small groups and the app suggests a fresh group every week (Montessori-style rotation: fewer toys out, deeper play). Books stay out all the time.
